About the neighbourhood A fast-transforming locality on the banks of the Thames, larger in area than Monaco, Nine Elms is set to become one of London's most vibrant districts. Much has changed since its humble farmland and locomotive works beginnings; in their place now stand gleaming mirrored skyscrapers and upscale private residences that dominate the horizon — one of which boasts the world's first floating sky pool, a leg-trembling 115 feet above the ground.

The iconic Battersea Power Station is at the heart of the neighbourhood.
