Begin on Brompton Road around Harrods and the shops of Knightsbridge, then explore the elegant streets leading towards Sloane Street and Belgravia. Walk north into Hyde Park through Prince of Wales Gate, Alexandra Gate or Rutland Gate for access to the Serpentine and Kensington Gardens.

Heading west brings you to Exhibition Road and the museums of South Kensington, while the Royal Albert Hall and Albert Memorial sit just beyond the park. This compact part of London is particularly rewarding to explore on foot.
